The TSC has been operational since July 2018 and to date has received over 300 cases from clients with various housing related issues. The majority of our cases relate to title deed problems due to informal cash sales, deceased estates and primary transfer issues.

At the time of reporting, the TSC has 251 cases that are in the initial document / information collection phase and 55 transfers that are currently in progress (includes transfers currently with our conveyancing partners or already lodged in the Deeds Office). To date, the TSC has finalised 22 cases which includes 11 title deed handovers.

The TSC’s work would not be possible without the active participation and effort of many partners including our conveyancing partners Norton Rose Fulbright and Abrahams & Gross, officials at the City of Cape Town and Western Cape Department of Human Settlements, lenders and others.
